The war between the tir’a and some terrachians (primarily the United American States and their allies) has been over for more than a decade. The Federation, an alliance formed by the United Earth Government (itself born from the ashes of the war) and the tir’a empire has been in place less than five years, the construction of the Federation capital on the planet M-1966 (known as Midway), has barely begun.
