Conditions on Rogue outside Ore City are primitive, but the tir'a are not. Other than humans they are the only race with FTL capabilities. They do tend to favor primitive weapons though and the old tir'a (Orion's grandfather) grabbed the first thing he saw to defend his family. For more on the tir'a and the terrachians, check the Artcospedia. I'm glad you appreciate the storytelling style. I don't think its necessary to fill in every detail, I'd rather let the reader extrapolate some story elements on their own. Almost as if they are co-imagining the story with me.

That reminds me, I have one question about the beginning. Was the race that was attacked. Were they primitives like Conan, etc?

I love the moody colors. And it seems obvious that the Hunter, Orion is it? Is in the city for a specific purpose, revenge it seems. That much you don’t need thought bubbles and narration boxes for.
