The Avopham are a post industrial society that are cyberpaths.
Biology
Roughly a meter tall, these insectivores have smooth, leathery skin and use a pair (pseudopods) to electrically charge the air and bring down prey. It is pseudopods that they have incorporated into their computer networks. By touching any computerized device they are able to extract information and/or use the device for it created purpose. Interestingly enough with the human neural wiring, when they are touched by the Avopham three things may occur. 1) A religious experience 2) A nightmare like occurence and 3) Sexual stimulation. Although it needs to be said that the Avopham and humans do not have compatible genitalia.
Culture
The Avopham’s sole purpose seems to be acquiring knowledge. This species came out of the rain forest and any writings they carried with them was fragile. This has made them very protective of knowledge and they have a repulsion of any destruction of knowledge. They are a matriarchal society
